The Compass Rose Project

In 2022, I completed The Compass Rose Project, a large-scale commission for Planned Parenthood Wisconsin.

I was drawn to this project for several reasons, but above all I was moved by PPWI's desire to rethink the way they honor their community. It began with a walk-through of their new flagship abortion healthcare center located in Milwaukee's Harbor District, which is large and offers state-of-the-art-care for it’s patients.

The Compass Rose Project was inspired by a desire to do provide a space that honors all who love, support and seek care at PPWI. The two-hundred eighty-five square foot installation greets all who visit following the patient path throughout the building.
